Friday’s Tid-Bits (Week4)

Sharing with you some of my favourite pre-loved, shabby chic and vintage treasures that I’ve stumbled upon whilst doing my research…

Just LOVE this colourful, romantic swing from an adorable backyard wedding featured on Once Wed a few months back and more recently on Elizabeth Anne Designs. (Big thanks to Sarah from Boho Bride for finding this source for me after I lost the link)!

Adore the elegant, shabby chic, vintage style of this real Ojai Valley wedding featured on Style Me Pretty. Although there are many stunning details in this wedding styled by Mindy Rice, this particular photograph caught my eye!

This DIY wedding, featured on 100 Layer Cake, really inspired me! The bride spent 6 months on her crafty wedding decor, unsurprisingly! You simply must check out the rest of this incredible wedding! Mel & Garret, you are Junk Shop Bride superstars!

Left: How cute is this little ‘thank you’ flag?! I came across this beautiful vintage styled wedding on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings featuring streamers, cute signage, a dress to die for and gorgeous flowers!

Right: When I saw this photograph on Ruffled, my first thought was that this would be my dream table at THE BEST boot fair EVER! It is filled with wonderful treasures- Check out the close-up below!

I just love they way this fabulous couple have combined old family photographs with new polaroids in this real wedding featured on Magnolia Rouge. A theme which reoccurred throughout, she even refashioned her mum’s gown making it all the more sentimental- a girl after my own heart!

Handmade invitations- much love! From the bride, Patricia: “I hand made all of the invitations for 400 guests by hiring a calligrapher and someone to letterpress. My fiance and I went to a paper store and ordered Cotton Cranes Lettra paper. We hand sewed all the envelopes from fabric and printed our guests’ name on the outside. We also hand made each flower on the outside of the envelopes by burning the edges of 6 different sized pieces of fabric and then sewing 3 pearls in the center.” Swoon! (Found on Ruffled)

I very much hope you are suitably inspired! Which is your favourite this week?

Wishing you all a very happy New Year! See you in 2011! xXx
