Friday’s Tid-Bits (Week3)

Sharing with you some of my favourite pre-loved, shabby chic and vintage treasures that I’ve stumbled upon whilst doing my research…

SURPRISE WEDDING! Amy of Eat Drink Chic shared her fabulous wedding photos on 100 Layer Cake! Their guests arrived at their “engagement party” only to hear of their wedding to follow! Imagine the excitement! ‘They wanted their picnic-themed wedding to be simple, rustic, understated and relaxed, using rustic woods, vintage crates and wine barrels.’ Perfection as far as I’m concerned!

Left: Simple and gorgeous yarn wrapped vases (via Elizabeth Anne Designs). I came across the image on Bridalhood. This fabulous blogger was looking for inspiration for a yarn themed tablescape and this is the second of her discoveries that I have used in Friday’s Tid-Bits! Obviously a girl after my own heart!

Right: These cute paper flowers were handcrafted by Green Wedding Shoes and included in the most fabulous ‘how to’ blog post showing many beautiful variations. If you love these, you must check it out!

These oober-cute Pie in a Jar treats were part of a fabulous winter shoot styled by Intertwined Events and featured on Green Wedding Shoes. These scrumptious little pies were filled with seasonal fruits, a wonderful way to continue a seasonal wedding theme, and they provide a great alternative to the oh-so-popular cupcake! This particular image was taken from another of Green Wedding Shoes’ inspirational ‘how to’ posts!

Simply loving these adorable place cards hanging on this wonderfully rustic ladder- an image from a real DIY wedding featured on, you guessed it, Green Wedding Shoes! Coincidence I swear!

Megan of Honey and Poppies created this incredible ceremony arch made with bookcases! Wouldn’t this be the most fantastic DIY project?! Featured as part of a fabulous shoot on 100 Layer Cake.

The cutest love birds! What a delightful little cake topper! Much love! Featured as part of a beautiful real wedding on Style Me Pretty.

I very much hope you are as inspired by these little tid-bits as much as I am! Do let me know what you think and which are your favourites! xXx
