Friday’s Tid-Bits (Week17)

Sharing with you some of my favourite pre-loved, shabby chic and vintage treasures that I’ve stumbled upon whilst doing my research…

What an uber-cute idea- a light picnic, individually boxed up for each guest! Quite possibly my favourite Tid-Bit ever! (Found on 100 Layer Cake)

Adorable drink and favour station displaying furniture & accessories found in a family barn. The silver tea set and concrete urn vase, were found at a garage sale. The ‘Wet Your Whistle’ sign was made from salvaged barn wood and hand-painted. A true Junk Shop Bride featured on 100 Layer Cake.

I urge you to check out the DIY hanging mason jar candles ‘how to’ on Brenda’s Wedding Blog! Don’t they look incredible as part of this beautiful evening tea tablescape?!

I found this fabulous snippet of inspiration on Pinterest. Just love the idea of surrounding your empty photobooth frames with family and/or engagement photos in mismatched frames!

Left: The guests at this exquisite 100 Layer Cake wedding, waved these adorable ‘hooray’ flags made from muslin and a custom gold stamp. Cuteness!

Right: What a sweet favour idea- ‘Herbs du Jar’, found on Better Homes & Gardens. You could pop little cocktail stick flags in the soil to name the herb and your guests could pick their favourite!

Fingerprint tree guestbook! LOVE.IT! A few words from the artists Bleu de Toi on Etsy; “After a sunny fall wedding in 2009, which was preceded by many months of DIY projects and crafting, we were inspired to share a few of these gems with a greater audience.” Delightful huh?!

So, what did you think of this week’s Tid-Bits? Do you have a favourite? xXx
